Gift Shops at John Ball Zoo
Get a special souvenir from one of our Gift Stands to remember your trip to the John Ball Zoo. You will find a great selection of souvenir items including plush animals, books, collectibles, puzzles and more. All of our stands gladly accept cash, check and credit cards (ID required), and our unique John Ball Zoo Gift Card*.
Gifts of the Wild
Don't forget to visit the Gifts of the Wild Gift Shop, located across from the eagle exhibit. This is our main Gift Shop and located across from the Bald Eagle Exhibit. We have gifts for kids and adults including T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, Plush, Books, and Toys in our permanent shop that stays open all year! The Gifts of the Wild Shop is open daily 10am to 4pm (winter) and 10am to 6pm (summer). Closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day.
July Special - during the month of July all plastic animal figures and accessories are 20% off (Excludes Toobs and Belly Bunch products, sale available only at Gifts of the Wild, prices good through July 31, 2010).
Front Entry Gift Stand
(Seasonal) – Located at the Entrance to the zoo. Get your necessities, snacks, drinks and smaller items. This is a great stop on the way in or on your way out.
Airbrushed Tattoos
(Seasonal) – Located at the top of the stairs by the Main Gift Shop.
Get a cool animal themed airbrushed tattoo that can stay on for as long
as 7 days!! Leave it Black for a realistic look, or add shimmer to customize
it. Black Tattoos are only $5.00 and Shimmer Tattoos are $8.00.
Stuff It! Build an Animal Stand
(Seasonal) – Located next to the River Otter Exhibit. Stuff your very own zoo friend! We have 12 different styles of animals to choose from. We also have tons of cool outfits, clothes and accessories to dress them up (cost extra) after you bring your new friend to life!
Camel Cart
(Seasonal) – Located at the Camel Rides. After you have taken your bumpy ride on one of our tall furry friends, make sure to get your very own furry friend to take home with you to remember your adventure. Commemorative photos are also available.
“Green” Cart
(Seasonal) – New for 2010! Located by the new Alligator Exhibit. This cart offers a variety of items for those that are looking to be more Earth Friendly. We offer bags, jewelry, toys and even water bottles. Also, this cart has a souvenir of our new animal “Mighty Mike!” Shirts, plush, toys and more!
Gift Bags
You can also pre-order gift bags for your group visit. There is a 12 unit limit for pre-orders.
*Gift Cards are available for purchase at the Gifts of the Wild in any amount ($5.00 minimum). They can be used at any stands around the zoo including Concessions, Gift and Experience Venues. They can also be used for Zoo admission and to purchase memberships.
