It’s reaching epidemic proportions as people AND animals want to get outside!!! John Ball Zoo is offering its’ own cure during ZOOBILEE which will be held Monday through Friday, April 2-6. Zoo visitors can expect their spring fever prescription to be fun-filled and full of the unexpected! Each day of ZOOBILEE is slightly different. Some days feature the percussion beats of Bill Vits – other days the hilarious tunes of Martin Zyla. Some days will feature a live scuba dive demonstration in the aquarium – other days a peek behind-the-scenes of the otter exhibit. While guests can count on two behind-the-scenes tours and two keeper demonstrations each day, it is recommended they get to the zoo by 10am in order to take advantage of all the extra activities. Regardless of what time they come though, there will be touchable animal experiences and special children’s activities. The zoo is currently open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for children ages 4 to 13, and free for children 3 and under.
