Badge and Try-It Programs
Our planet is home to thousands of different animals. Visit JBZ to get WILD and have fun earning your Girl Scout Badge or Try-It by learning about animal diversity and how animals connect to us and our environment! Your program will include hands-on learning activities, animal games, a tour through a selected region of the zoo (tour portion applies for during months zoo is open) plus a live animal demonstration! These GRRRRReat programs are ideal for troops who want a unique way of earning their next animal badge!
Who: Junior Girl Scouts
Where: John Ball Zoo; 1300 W. Fulton; Grand Rapids, MI 49501
Cost: $7 per girl; 1 troop leader and 1 co-leader free (additional adults
$3 each)
When: Monday - Saturday from (September-April), Sunday-Saturday (May-August)
Timeframe: 1hour & 30 minutes in length
Capacity: 8 girl minimum; 20 girls max per program
