All five days of BOO will be packed with entertainment, trick-or-treat stations,
make-and-take crafts and animal activities, but each day will be different from
treat stations to entertainment. Imagine your child dressed-up like a lion,
in front of a real lion. It’s those amazing and sometimes hilarious photo
opportunities that just pop up at John Ball Zoo’s BOO.
ZOO GOES BOO! is budget-friendly at $7.00 for everyone. Members only $3.00. Kids 2 and under are always totally free!

Scarecrow Safari Contest - new this year
Enter our Scarecrow Safari contest for a chance to win a free field trip to the zoo! Your family, classroom, scout troop, corporate organization, or youth group can create and display a life-sized scarecrow as part of our special, “kooky not spooky” Halloween decorations. Almost anything can be used to create scarecrows as long as all items are weatherproof. There is no cost to enter, and your scarecrows will be enjoyed by our 15,000+ zoo guests! Download an entry form and guidelines. Deadline for registration is October 8, Scarecrows must be delivered October 15-17. All groups will be entered into the scarecrow safari raffle to win FREE zoo admission for up to 25 total people the 2013 calendar year! Three winning groups will be drawn from the raffle. |
